Description
Due to habitat loss and over-development in areas that once harboured wildlife in abundance, nature’s natural pest controllers are forced to dissipate and many suburbs have become overrun by pests. However, by offering these species eg: Spotted Eagle Owls/ Barn Owls and Bats a suitable nesting site with the correct habitat box one can have nature controlling the pests and avoid the use of Rodenticides which have a profoundly negative effect on the balance of eco-systems. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS ECO-FRIENDLY POISON! If you want to live in a balanced environment, then work with Nature and not against it.
This habitat attracts Barn Owls, allowing them to have a secluded and safe environment in order to breed in the area from the box, with one entrance mimicking what Barn Owls prefer – quiet, enclosed and safe, hence the name ‘Barn Owl’.
