Wild Way Learning Centre at Grace Valley Haven
Operating under the ethos of the train-the-trainer model and embracing the fact that our future lies in the hands and hearts of our youth, our learning centre will be dedicated to offering a platform to educators and students to receive training in compassionate nature conservation, as well as curriculum material in their home language for use in classrooms and art rooms at schools.
We are raising funds to fix and fix and upgrade the existing structure so we can –
- create learning and teaching materials to use in classrooms, art rooms and community centres
- share presentations and have meetings
- host workshops
The structure is currently being used as a pottery studio, which will be moving to the double garage sized space adjacent to the learning centre … which brings us to the next exciting project we are involved with….
COMING SOON! Ons Klein Huisie ~ Our Tiny Cottage
The original 1865, off-grid, adobe cottage on the Grace Valley Haven homestead, was lovingly restored around 10 – 15 years ago. Now, after many moons of welcoming travellers and longer-term stays, she is ready for some vital maintenance and upgrades so we can welcome you and your friends to Ons Klein Huisie ~ Our Tiny Cottage at Grace Valley Haven, near Greyton in the Overberg.
We are raising funds to replaster the inside adobe walls, restore the indoor fire-place, upgrade the bathroom, and fence off a private pet-friendly garden area, which has an outdoor fire place and views of the tuinland and rolling mountains. Profits made from overnight bookings at Ons Klein Huisie, will directly contribute to Grace Valley Haven’s animal rescue, first aid and care efforts, as well as to various educational and outreach projects that promote compassion to all animals, people and our eco-systems.

Situated on the picturesque Main Road of Greyton, the Art of Compassion Gallery beautifully showcases a curated collection of exceptional artwork, with sales supporting both artists and Greyton’s animal rescue organizations and sanctuaries, including Grace Valley Haven.
